This creation by Valbruna, handcrafted in Simone Gaudenzi’s workshop in Gabicce Mare, offers a personal reinterpretation of the classic Prince shape. The piece is characterized by the harmony between the compact proportions of the bowl and the elongated stem, enhanced by the addition of a refined detail at the shank.

General Features and Construction Details

The pipe belongs to the Brown Smooth 1 Jellyfish grading, distinguished by a stain that highlights the quality of the briar grain:

• Briar Grain: The bowl features an even flame grain running around the entire circumference, transitioning into a dense bird’s eye pattern visible on the base.

• Bowl: Features a small-to-medium capacity. The combustion chamber is drilled with a slight taper toward the bottom, designed to facilitate airflow and promote an even combustion of the tobacco throughout the smoke.

• Shank and Ferrule: The shank terminates in a silver olive-shaped fitting, serving as both a structural and aesthetic transition between the wood and the stem.

• Stem: Made of marbled acrylic with an extended length, shaped to provide a balanced color contrast with the brown tone of the briar and a comfortable bite.
