To commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence (1776–2026), Dunhill The White Spot presents a limited edition of exceptional historical and collectible significance.

Adopted on July 4, 1776, by the Continental Congress and drafted by the Committee of Five — led by Thomas Jefferson alongside John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Robert R. Livingston and Roger Sherman — the Declaration marked the birth of the United States, affirming the inalienable rights of equality, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. This pipe celebrates a quarter of a millennium of history through the craftsmanship that distinguishes the British Dunhill tradition.

The example offered here is No. 12 of only 19 pieces produced worldwide in the Cumberland finish.

• Bulldog “OX” Shape (Ref. 5104): The pipe is based on the renowned historic Bulldog silhouette, classified as an “OX” shape, presented in Group 5 (medium-large size). It is distinguished by the bold, squared lines of the shank combined with the classic shaping of the bowl.

• Cumberland Finish: The brown sandblasted finish highlights the structure of the briar through a fine and even treatment. The chromatic contrast between the sandblasted texture of the bowl and the streaking of the ebonite makes each piece unique.

• Bowl: Featuring generous capacity (Group 5) and a precisely executed cylindrical chamber designed to ensure an even burn and optimal airflow.

• Cumberland Mouthpiece: Made from ebonite streaked in warm reddish-brown tones that complement the finish of the bowl. It features a straight taper, individually shaped and hand-finished for each example.

• Sterling Silver Band (925): The shank is enhanced by a 10 mm Sterling Silver band (92.5% purity), finely engraved with the commemorative year “1776.”

The pipe is accompanied by an exclusive solid bronze tamper depicting the Statue of Liberty.

• Finish: 18-carat rose-gold plated (1-micron thickness), a choice of finish intended to evoke the original coppery tone of the Statue of Liberty when it was first created.
