To commemorate the 130th anniversary of the death of William Morris (1834–1896) — a key figure of the Arts & Crafts movement, British artist, designer and writer — the Dunhill The White Spot manufactory presents a highly collectible limited edition dedicated to the celebrated master of design and traditional craftsmanship.

Morris tirelessly championed the value of craftsmanship, the use of the finest-quality materials and the integration of art into everyday life. These principles perfectly reflect the manufacturing philosophy of the London-based house.

The Model: Quaint Shape and Bowl Design

The pipe features the exclusive Quaint shape, a classification Dunhill uses for models outside its traditional catalogue standards. Specifically, this piece is based on the historic curved 143 design, reinterpreted with a smooth round bottom, providing excellent ergonomics and a well-balanced aesthetic.

• Size: Group 4 (medium-large).

• Bowl: Generous capacity with a regular cylindrical chamber, designed to ensure an even and consistent tobacco burn.

• Mouthpiece: Saddle mouthpiece made from fine Cumberland ebonite, individually shaped and finished for each piece, with a slightly fishtail button for a comfortable bite.

Cumberland Finish and Sterling Silver Details

The Cumberland finish is distinguished by its fine, even sandblast on the briar, stained in warm shades of brown that highlight the grain of the wood and create a natural chromatic continuity with the streaks of the mouthpiece.

Enhancing the shank is a 10 mm Sterling Silver band (925/1000 silver), finely engraved with the commemorative dates: 1834 William Morris 1896.
