Valbruna Pipe: The Legacy of the Pesaro School

Valbruna is the personal signature of Simone Gaudenzi, an Italian pipemaker whose background is deeply rooted in the prestigious Pesaro school. His journey began in 1998 in the historic Ser Jacopo workshop under the guidance of Giancarlo Guidi, an iconic figure of modern Italian pipemaking. In that inspiring environment, Gaudenzi developed his aesthetic sensibility, refining his sense of line, sculptural balance, and mechanical precision.

In his workshop in Gabicce Mare, Simone Gaudenzi maintains a limited and highly selective production. Every Valbruna pipe is the result of direct, rigorous control over all stages of crafting—from selecting the briar block to the final finish.
