This Italian handcrafted Valbruna pipe is a unique piece of monumental proportions, designed and shaped entirely by hand by Simone Gaudenzi in his workshop in Gabicce Mare. The item is classified Smooth Brown 3 Jellyfish.

The structure blends the lines of a Dublin Chimney with those of a Freehand Standup, thanks to its flattened base that allows it to rest upright unsupported. The smooth brown finish highlights an even straight grain across the sides of the bowl, perfectly complemented by dense, centered bird's eye on the front. The top rim retains its natural bark top, leaving the raw plateau crust visible in contrast to the polished briar. The chamber is particularly spacious, featuring a slightly tapered bore.

The mouthpiece is cut from a rod of ebonite with a tapered profile and a fishtail bit design.
