Alinetu Daniele Carbini Pipe – Smooth Natural Squat Rhodesian

The Alinetu pipe represents an excellent expression of Sardinian craftsmanship and is entirely handmade by Daniele Carbini.

Geometry, Shape, and Working of the Briar

The model is developed around the design of a Squat Rhodesian, a variation of the classic shape characterized by flattened and compact proportions, with a distinct bead line encircling the bowl. The pipe settles on medium overall dimensions, with a subtle quarter-bent curvature that makes its ergonomics particularly balanced and elegant.

The chosen finish is smooth natural.

The Shank and the Stem: Artisanal Craftsmanship and Inserts

The end face of the shank connects to the stem through a premium element: a natural horn band, which joins the wood, serving as a perfect structural and chromatic closure for the shank.

The stem is entirely hand-cut from a solid cumberland rod. The profile is conical and ends with a fishtail shape.

Technical Specifications of the Bowl

• Bowl: Characterized by a small internal capacity, a configuration ideal for short smokes, technical tastings, or for utilizing specific blends that benefit from more contained combustion chambers.

• Drilling: The bowl features a regular cylindrical drilling. This geometry maintains a constant diameter throughout the entire depth of the bowl.
