Radice Rind G Pipe – Rusticated Straight Octagonal Panel
The G grading identifies Radice creations characterized by generous dimensions and substantial volumes.
Design, Shape, and Panel Geometry
This model is developed on a straight Panel silhouette, featuring a bowl meticulously carved with geometric facets.
The Octagonal Head: The originally cylindrical Billiard shape is reinterpreted here through the molding of eight symmetrical flat faces.
The Rind Finish: Unlike more pronounced rustications, the Rind finish on this piece appears lighter and more homogeneous. The texture is evenly distributed across all panels of the bowl and the shank, softening the sharpness of the facets without altering the precision of the octagonal geometry.
Capacity and Drilling: The chamber offers a good capacity, ideal for generous packs and extended slow-smoking sessions. The internal drilling is cylindrical, with a subtle taper at the bottom.
Robust Walls: The walls of the bowl maintain a robust thickness. This generosity of the briar acts as an excellent thermal insulator, ensuring a cool smoke and protecting the pipe from heat even during more intense combustion.
Stem and Finishes
Material: The stem is molded from polished black acrylic, a technical choice that guarantees freedom from oxidation and retains its deep, original luster over time.
Profile: It features a tapered (conical) line that flows smoothly into the shank, ending with a standard bit.
