The Valbruna Sabbiata 1 Jellyfish pipe, crafted by Italian artisan Simone Gaudenzi, is a masterpiece that masterfully interprets an elegant, old-world shape. This specific model stands out for its slender and balanced design, seamlessly blending a classic aesthetic with highly functional geometric solutions for daily use.

Design, Shape, and Geometry

The structure features a quarter bent Chimney silhouette.

• The Shank and Stand-Up Base: One of the most notable functional features of this piece is the flared end of the shank. This geometric solution not only balances the pipe's proportions but also allows it to be a stand-up pipe, meaning it can rest upright on its own when placed on a flat surface.

• The Bowl and Rim: The medium-capacity chamber is crowned on the upper rim by a bark top (natural plateau) finish, preserving the original rough texture of the briar block. The internal drilling features a subtle taper at the bottom.

Sandblasting and Briar Finish

The sandblasting is remarkably uniform across the entire body of the pipe, leaving the grain/flame pattern prominently raised on the flanks, beautifully enhancing the natural design of the wood.
