Valbruna by Simone Gaudenzi Pipe – Sandblasted 1 Jellyfish: Classic Rigor and Contemporary Interpretation
The artisanal workshop Valbruna, guided by the sensitivity of pipemaker Simone Gaudenzi, is capturing the attention of enthusiasts. This pipe, included in the Sandblasted 1 Jellyfish classification, represents a highly successful interpretation of a great classic, reimagined with gentle lines and formal elegance.
The model is developed around the silhouette of a medium-sized Quarter Bent Rhodesian, characterized by a slightly squat bowl proportion.
Light Sandblasting: Executed with care, the sandblasting does not alter the geometry of the shape but follows its natural grain, allowing it to emerge in a subtle, silky-to-the-touch relief.
Deep Black Coloring: A deep and even dye finish.
The Stem and Logo: Made of black acrylic, the standard stem features a slightly fishtail (just hinted) terminal shape to improve ergonomics on the lip. Standing out on the top is the charming silver Jellyfish logo, the distinctive signature of Simone Gaudenzi.
Capacious Bowl: Despite the medium proportions and the slightly lowered line of the bowl, the combustion chamber offers a generous capacity, excellent for holding tobacco loads capable of ensuring smoking sessions of satisfying duration.
Combined Internal Drilling: The bowl features a cylindrical drilling in the main section, which fades into a slightly conical geometry at the bottom.
