In the beating heart of the Brianza region near Como, precisely in Cucciago, stands one of the most esteemed and genuine workshops of the Italian pipe-making tradition: the Radice manufacture. This geographical area, historically dedicated to manufacturing excellence and woodworking, serves as the backdrop for the creation of pipes born from an uncompromising philosophy, where the raw material is celebrated in all its purity. The Radice pipe included in the famous Rind Pure grading perfectly embodies this spirit, presenting itself as an object of extraordinary substance, solidity, and natural charm.

The model is developed on the design of a classic straight Pot, interpreted here in a decidedly muscular and robust guise. The visual and structural feature that immediately captures one's attention lies in the exceptionally thick walls of the bowl. This generous briar thickness is not only a high-impact aesthetic choice, but also represents a huge technical advantage: it guarantees exceptional thermal insulation, keeping the pipe cool in the hands and protecting the chamber from overheating even during the longest and most intense smokes.

The Rind Pure finish enhances the architecture of the piece through a deep and vigorous rustication, executed entirely by hand. The unique characteristic of the "Pure" series lies in the radical choice to leave the briar completely natural, without any stain or dye. The chromatic and textural contrast is beautifully emphasized by the flat upper rim, left smooth, which showcases the original density and grain of the block before processing. Over the months and with constant use, the natural briar will absorb the oils from the tobacco and hands, developing a unique, intimate, and unrepeatable patina: a true visual diary of its owner's smokes.

Inside the imposing head opens a decidedly capacious bowl, crafted with a cylindrical drilling of millimeter precision. This internal geometry ensures a regular combustion of the tobacco from start to finish, proving ideal for any type of mixture.

To complete this robust creation, we find a mouthpiece in high-gloss black acrylic—resistant to oxidation and comfortable under the teeth—shaped with a tapered design that cleans and slenders the straight line of the shank. Standing out on the top of the stem are the two wooden dots, the unmistakable trademark and distinctive signature of Radice productions, a symbol of a handmade authenticity that does not fear the test of time.
