Valbruna Sabbiata 1 Jellyfish – Italian Handmade Pipe
The Valbruna Sabbiata 1 Jellyfish is a medium-sized Italian handmade pipe, crafted by Simone Gaudenzi, an experienced artisan from the Marche region who lives and works in Gabicce Mare. The pipe belongs to the Sabbiata 1 Jellyfish classification and features a freehand shape that ideally recalls the Cherrywood, reinterpreted according to the pipemaker’s own sensibility and craftsmanship.
The structure is curved and stand-up: the particular width of the base of the bowl allows the pipe to stand upright. The generously proportioned bowl accommodates a medium-capacity chamber, with a slightly tapered drilling towards the bottom.
The surface features a fine sandblasted finish, highlighting the natural character of the briar and giving the pipe a precise, tactile texture.
The acrylic stem completes the pipe with a line that harmonizes with the shape of the bowl. On the upper side, it features the distinctive silver logo depicting a jellyfish, a characteristic element of the Valbruna Jellyfish series.
The pipe was crafted by Simone Gaudenzi, an artisan with extensive experience in the Italian pipe-making tradition. In his workshop in Gabicce Mare, in the Marche region, Gaudenzi interprets briar through freehand shapes and carefully executed details, maintaining a strong connection with Italian craftsmanship.
This Valbruna Sabbiata 1 Jellyfish is therefore a medium-sized pipe with a distinctive character: a freehand shape inspired by the Cherrywood, curved and stand-up, with a fine sandblasted finish, a generous bowl and an acrylic stem enhanced by the characteristic jellyfish symbol.
