• Construction: Unlike pipes that use organic bamboo inserts, this shank is carved entirely out of briar.

• Execution: Through precise manual modeling and subsequent differentiated staining, the nodes and typical nuances of a bamboo plant are reproduced, while maintaining the structural integrity and thermal resistance inherent to briar wood.

The model is a Cherrywood, a "sitter" shape designed to remain balanced autonomously when placed on a flat surface.
