Al Pascià is one of the oldest and most prestigious historic shops in Milan, located inside the magnificent Palazzo Casati Stampa at Via Torino 61, in the very heart of the city.
Since 1906, it has been a leading reference point for enthusiasts of pipes, smoking accessories, and high-end handmade leather goods. Officially recognized as a “historic shop” by the City of Milan and as a “heritage retail store” by the Lombardy Region, Al Pascià embodies over a century of excellence, aesthetic research, and the culture of beauty. Its story is a journey through noble materials, collaborations with Europe’s finest artisans, and a continuous evolution rooted in timeless elegance. Our history

Since the beginning, when only pipes and tobacco were sold, our mission has always been the same: to promote beauty, by nurturing our feel for materials and shapes, developing close working relationships with the best artisans, but above all listening to our clients. Indeed, it is the clients who led us to expand our range, when they began to ask us in 1990 for pipe and tobacco bags that would match the excellence of our smoking equipment. 
It is but a short step from briar wood to leather for people who love natural materials, their complexity, the infinite range of sensations which are never exactly the same that a good briar and leather evoke. We seek the best suppliers of raw materials, leading pipe makers in Europe and in other parts of the world, and the most refined Italian specialists in leather goods. The entire creative process is marked by close co-operation with our artisans, from the initial design to the choice of materials and finishes to the final product, with special emphasis on the manufacturing techniques. For example, together with our leather experts we have revived almost forgotten traditional eighteenth-century crafting skills.

Today

Al Pascià offers its clients a full range of pipes, from the unique Curvy to more prestigious brands to customized models that the clients themselves design together with us. Starting with tobacco and pipe bags, the range of leather accessories has extended to include all classic leather items, such as keyrings, wallets, bags, and luggage. Thus, Al Pascia’s range has broadened, but not too much. As our passion for excellence has continued and grown, we have always maintained the highest artisanal standards, offering unique, impeccable long-lasting items in limited numbers.
