Al Pascia' exclusive dealer for Italy
A handcrafted pipe with a unique identity, signed by Japanese pipemaker Ken Dederichs and entirely handmade in his workshop in Germany. This particular piece represents an interesting exception within the artisan’s production: while Dederichs is known for his creations, which are generally more compact in size, here he presents a medium-to-large Freehand shape, showcasing remarkable sculptural versatility.
Key Features
Design and Finish:
The bowl features a smooth finish enhanced by a contrast stain, carefully developed to bring out the natural grain of the briar to its fullest. Along the particularly broad rim, a crisp and highly prized birdseye grain pattern is beautifully displayed.
Stand-Up Design:
The base of the bowl has been subtly and expertly flattened, allowing the pipe to stand upright on its own when placed on a flat surface, eliminating the need for a pipe stand.
Army Mount:
An army-style mount provides excellent strength and practicality while also contributing to an elegant, timeless aesthetic.
Ebonite Stem:
The stem has been hand-cut and shaped from a high-quality black ebonite rod, carefully modeled to provide optimal comfort when clenched.
Bowl Chamber:
The tobacco chamber offers a medium capacity and features a precise, cylindrical drilling, designed to promote an even and consistent combustion of the tobacco throughout the smoke.
