This handmade pipe was crafted in Italy in the workshop of Caminetto, a landmark brand in Italian pipemaking tradition also famously known as "La Pipa del Baffo" (The Moustache Pipe). It belongs to the Event series and is graded as Event 2014 Red, a collection that merges heritage with a contemporary reinterpretation of archive Caminetto shapes.

The Event series, launched in 2013 by Tommaso "Tommy" Ascorti—grandson of founder Giuseppe "Peppino" Ascorti—takes inspiration from historical models preserved in the workshop's archives. Each year, a past shape is selected and reinterpreted through updated proportions and details while preserving its original identity. The year engraved on the pipe indicates the specific archive project chosen for that edition.

A signature element of the Event collection is the use of copper, which serves as an aesthetic hallmark. In this model, the copper ring (oliva) set between the shank and the stem features the engravings "Event" and "2014" on opposite sides, creating a refined contrast with the briar and highlighting its specific release year.

The pipe presents a straight Pot shape of medium size, characterized by classic proportions and clean lines. The smooth finish enhances the grain of the briar, bestowing a understated, timeless appearance.
