Caminetto Pipe by Tommaso Ascorti – Chubby Interpretation of the Bulldog

This Italian handcrafted Caminetto pipe, made a few years ago by Tommaso Ascorti, is a free and personal interpretation of the classic Bulldog shape. A model characterized by deliberately generous proportions, in which the tradition of the shape is reinterpreted through a softer, more compact design.

The pipe features a smooth finish with a brown stain that highlights the grain of the briar, giving it a warm, tactile appearance. The bowl, generous in size relative to the overall proportions, gives the pipe a distinctly chubby look with a substantial and easily recognizable presence.

The round shank runs along the line of the pipe up to the stem, maintaining continuity with the bowl and the overall proportions. The stem is made of black acrylic, short, tapered, and featuring the characteristic Caminetto logo with the two stylized mustache marks.

The bowl offers good capacity and features a slightly conical drilling toward the bottom, a configuration completing a construction designed to provide adequate depth to the tobacco chamber.
