Talamona by Paolo Croci Pipe – Smooth Mini Reverse with 3-Stem Set
The Mini Reverse pipe represents an interesting technical and design evolution within the catalog of Talamona, a historic Italian brand skillfully relaunched and guided by Paolo Croci. This creation combines structural compactness with the engineering effectiveness of the expansion chamber system, offering a dynamic and highly customizable smoking experience thanks to the included modular accessories.
The Reverse Calabash System and Geometry
The model is structured around a classic Bent Apple silhouette, reinterpreted to accommodate the Reverse Calabashmechanics. In fact, an expansion chamber (hollow shank) is carved inside the shank, positioned before the stem. This empty space acts as a condensation chamber: by expanding inside it, the smoke undergoes a natural reduction in temperature and deposits excess moisture, ensuring a cool and dry smoke, similar to that of traditional gourd Calabash pipes.
Finish, Aesthetic Details, and Modular Set
The body of the pipe features a smooth finish with a dark matte coloration, a sober and elegant chromatic choice that emphasizes the compactness of the lines. The junction point between the shank and the stem section is embellished with a white acrylic band, which creates a sharp and pleasing visual contrast.
The true distinctiveness of this offering lies in its versatility of use, guaranteed by a complete set of coordinated accessories:
3-Stem Set: The pipe comes with three different acrylic stems (one short, one medium, and one long). This modularity allows the smoker to transform the appearance and overall length of the artifact according to personal preferences and the moment of use.
Coordinated Pipe Tool: A practical acrylic and metal pipe tool accompanies the set.
Technical Specifications of the Bowl
Bowl: The combustion chamber settles on a medium capacity.
Drilling: The inside of the bowl is executed with a drilling that is slightly conical toward the bottom.
