Within the firmament of high-end craftsmanship in the Brianza region near Como, precisely in Cucciago, the Caminetto brand holds a place of honor impressed upon the memory of every collector. The history of this brand traces its roots back to the late 1960s, when the visionary genius of Peppino Ascorti and Luigi Radice gave life to pipes capable of revolutionizing the international market with bold shapes and exceptional performance. Today, that extraordinary tradition of excellence and artisanal passion continues to thrive under the guidance of Tommaso Ascorti, who keeps intact the original spirit of the most famous "mustache" in the pipe world.

This creation, graded as Red, is distinguished by the generous size of Gruppo 5 and offers a masterful interpretation of the Egg model developed on a very curved (full bent) silhouette. The briar body is enhanced by a sophisticated smooth finish with a deep and warm dark red coloration. This is a highly classy chromatic choice, specifically designed so that the transparency of the stain allows the natural pattern of the briar block to show through. Crowning the head, the upper rim is perfectly flat—a choice of geometric cleanliness that exalts the sinuous volume of the bowl.

The true structural strength of this piece lies in the extraordinary relationship between shape and balance: it is a highly elegant and lightweight pipe, whose surprising compactness derives precisely from the high curvature of the shank. This design brings the masses closer to the center of gravity, reducing the leverage effect and offering greater comfort when held between the teeth.

Despite the reduced and compact external dimensions, the pipe conceals a decidedly capacious chamber inside. The drilling has been executed with millimeter precision, revealing itself to be slightly conical toward the bottom: a geometry highly appreciated by smokers, as it accommodates the natural and progressive compression of the tobacco during the smoke, optimizing the draw.

To complete this creation, we find a mouthpiece in high-gloss black acrylic with a saddle design. Standing out on the top of the stem are the two white acrylic mustaches—the historic trademark and unmistakable signature of Caminetto productions.
