Italian pipe craftsmanship is enriched by a unique creation signed by Alinetu, the brand born from the hands and vision of Daniele Carbini. This Sardinian artisan lives and works in the heart of Gallura, in Tempio Pausania, a territory where nature expresses itself through primordial shapes. It is precisely here, between Tempio and Aggius, that the famous Valle della Luna (Valley of the Moon, or Piana dei Grandi Sassi) stretches out: a lunar landscape dominated by imposing granite formations shaped by the wind, which perhaps inspired the genesis and design of this collector's piece.

The Design: A Dialogue Between Astronomy and Nature

This smooth freehand pipe stands out for its straight yet dynamic silhouette, evoking astronomical and planetary imagery.

• The Bowl (Canted Egg): The bowl, featuring an Egg shape, has a slight forward tilt (canted). The smooth finish accentuates the natural grain of the briar.

• The Shank: Viewed from above, the flat, ellipse-like shank creates a unique geometric interplay. The way the bowl seamlessly meets the shank visually simulates a planet's axis set into its orbit, giving the piece a perfect formal balance.

• The Tobacco Chamber: Designed for meditative and long-lasting smokes, the pipe features a capacious bowl with a precise cylindrical chamber drilling.
