The Ser Jacopo brand was founded in 1982 in Pesaro by Giancarlo Guidi, one of the most revolutionary and influential figures in contemporary Italian pipe making. The company philosophy, summarized by the famous Latin motto "Per Aspera ad Astra" (Through hardships to the stars), reflects a constant pursuit of formal and technical perfection, starting from the natural imperfections of raw briar.
